The AI chat feature ("Chat with Lumenta") is for general wellness conversation only and should NOT be used as a substitute for professional mental health care.

You acknowledge that any information provided by the App is for informational and entertainment purposes only.

📜 Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Lumenta ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

🔒 Intellectual Property Rights

All content, features, functionality, and design of Lumenta—including but not limited to:

• The "Lumenta" name, branding, and logo
• All graphics, artwork, animations, and visual elements
• The AI chat companion character and personality
• The garden/plant gamification system
• User interface designs and layouts
• Source code and underlying technology
• Sound effects, audio, and music

—are the exclusive property of Lumentanate Apps and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You may NOT:

• Copy, reproduce, or duplicate any part of the App
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App's concepts, design, or features to create competing products
• Scrape, extract, or harvest any data or content from the App

Any unauthorized reproduction, imitation, or use of Lumenta's intellectual property requires explicit written consent from Lumentanate Apps and may result in legal action.

📋 User License

Subject to these Terms, Lumentanate Apps grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control.

📱 User Content & Data

• All mood entries, journal content, and personal data you create remain yours
• Your data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to external servers
• You are responsible for maintaining backups of your device to prevent data loss
• We do not access, read, or analyze your personal wellness entries

💳 Subscription & Payments

• Lumenta Premium is available as a monthly ($9.99/month) or annual subscription
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID Account Settings
• A 7-day free trial may be available for eligible users; if not cancelled before the trial ends, the subscription will begin automatically

⚖️ Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• Lumentanate Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• We are not responsible for any decisions or actions you take based on information provided by the App
• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee the App will be error-free or uninterrupted

🛡️ Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lumentanate Apps from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

📝 Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

🏛️ Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction of Lumentanate Apps' principal place of business.
